The Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development will begin accepting applications for the first round of subsidies for "Film Talent Training and Support Guidelines" for the 113th fiscal year starting from November 15, 2023.

  1. The Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development, Ministry of Culture, has established the "Film Talent Training and Support Guidelines" (referred to as the Talent Training Guidelines) to enhance the quality and technical skills of film talents. These guidelines encourage domestic universities and colleges to collaborate and offer interdisciplinary or inter-school courses related to film specialties, such as data analysis, animation special effects, post-production techniques, producer/director, international marketing, and more. Additionally, institutions are encouraged to invite industry professionals to introduce practical courses in the film and audiovisual industry through programs or credit courses, thereby strengthening the connection between academia and the industry and enhancing employability.

  2. The Talent Training Guidelines were amended and published in Directive No. 11230042732 on August 7, 2023 (please refer to the attached document). For the first round of subsidies in the 113th fiscal year, applications will be accepted online. Your institution is welcome to apply, and the application period is open from November 15, 2023, to December 15, 2023. To avoid system congestion on the final day, it is recommended to complete the application as early as possible to avoid any potential impacts on your application rights.
